As a provider of leading practice initiatives in commercialisation activities , the Australian Institute for Commercialisation (AIC) has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-organised individual to join its growing Commercialisation Consultancy and Solutions group, working closely with the Queensland Department of Tourism, Regional Development (DTRDI) to assist in the delivery of a range of innovation services in regional Queensland (Mackay to North Queensland).

 

Reporting to the Director, Solutions and Consultancy and the Director of the Cairns DTRDI Regional Office you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks to assist technology-based clients to grow their businesses. You will also engage with research organisations and various Government agencies.  

 

Ideally you will have a background with 3-5 years experience in a commercially-oriented science or engineering role, or in a technology based business.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, managing projects and an understanding of innovation are key attributes of the position.
